Amin"Tony" Hester's Vision

For over twenty years I’ve advocated on behalf of the residents of Pierce County. My advocacy has resulted in accessible sidewalks, more employment for people with disabilities, accessible transportation projects, and changes in county ordinances for the betterment of all Pierce County citizens. I’m not entering the race for charter commission for prestige, there is nothing glamorous about reviewing the county’s charter. I’m not running for monetary gain; I’m volunteering my personal time. I’m running because I believe in serving our community and ensuring the charter reflects the needs and concerns of every Pierce County resident. Weather low income, middle-class, or financially affluent, living in a densely populated area or in a rural area, a business owner or company employee you will be impacted by the decisions the charter review commission makes. My background in policy work affords me the expertise to develop a framework for moving us in a positive direction. Voting for me means, you’re voting for moving in the right direction and for, someone with the same concerns as you and your loved ones. Voting for me ensures, accountability, transparency, and that you will not be forgotten.
